 Oh Ye Faithful Slides

 I am saying goodbye to my slides that took me through the first part of the pandemic. From mid-March until this past Saturday, 9/26/2020. My primary footwear has been the above pictured slides. I wore them as I Instacarted throughout March till August. I just wanted to give my slides some love because they were so comfortable and I just slide in them, sometimes with socks on, and they took me everywhere I needed to go. Thanks, Oh Ye Faithful Slides. You served me extremely well.

 WORK FROM HOME Over the past three years, I've come to know quite a bit about SUBLIMATION. To the point where I'm able to make decorate items such as blank coffee mugs, coasters, canvas, flip flops, puzzles, masks and so much more FROM HOME.  I became interested when I found out about a lady named Cheryl Kuchek who was doing sublimation, and had a Facebook group which I joined, Sublimation for Beginners and Beyond. Beginners? Shoot, I didn't even know what sublimation was. Allow Me to Introduce Myself

 Jean Marie Givan I believe I am somebody connected to God, sent by Him, here into this Earth, to so some things with other people. My life was heavily influenced by the spiritual, on the good side. My dad says his mother used to pray a lot, and I think I got "zapped," for the lack of a better term. Like I'm special, like divinely selected.  My dad's friend, Mrs. Richards (when she was really up there in age, like in her 90s) would tell me that I have a call of God on my life. I believe it. All of my life, I felt like I was being guided, except when I was being wayward. But even in those times and moments, I had restrictions. I came up a particular way. I was raised Catholic, in a good sense. With a reverence for God and spiritual authority. That carries over into a belief in and trust of God. While some take issue with certain doctrines, I am good with having been raised Catholic because I have a sense of spirituality and morality that has played a major part in who ...

MY WORK IS MY WORSHIP

My Work Is My Worship A lot of times people have the mistaken notion that work is detached from worship to God. In my case, it's one in the same, as never before. I have a new mindset, embracing the challenges that are my work from home, now, particularly in sublimation and heat transfer work, as unto the Lord. I consecrate myself anew, in service rendered to God. This time, more intentionally, it's my work. I'm entering into a new real. I'm at a new place. I'm on new ground, even though physically, my location is the same. I'm right now, here in my room, which used to be my grandfather's room, preparing for work. Well, even this blog is an extension of my work.  I know of no one reading my blog, at this point, but I'm still responsible, to put out content. This will be breadcrumbs for someone who comes along in the months and years to come, who will want to follow along and have guidance. Well, here it is.
