THANKFUL THURSDAY


THANKFUL for these two (Mom, and her pooch, Gigi). They keep each other going. 

THANKFUL that we had practice with quarantine by what has transpired over the past decade.

THANKFUL that I left my beloved Cali, to return to NY to look after Mom. The highest percentage of people affected by COVID-19 are the elderly, particularly those in long-term care facilities.

THANKFUL for the ability to serve Mom in this capacity. What a relief! God is the Greatest.

He's pouring out blessings in my life, right now. I'm dripping with the blessings of God. It's as if (and I am) under an open Heaven (I tithe, see Malachi 3:10).

God is guiding me. It took a minute, but things are finally coming into alignment. Another few good portions of Scripture to check out AND DWELL ON (think about it), are: Proverbs 3:5-6, but don't stop there. Go onto verses 9 and 10, dwell on that.

Your money coming up short? GIVE. You don't think God knew there was gonna be a pandemic, and you know who was gonna be where he is (soon to be was), when Covid-19 hit?

THANKFUL for the new. January 20, ❤😘.
(Looking forward to ya!) But wait, 2020 isn't over. I'm finishing up STRONG ☝️💪,

This is for those of you who have been sowing seed, doing what you're supposed to do. One more thing you gotta do: WATCH YOUR MOUTH.

Don't curse yourself and your blessings. Don't repeat what you hear on the news, or what other people are saying. If so, you'll get those outcomes. I know what I'm talking about...

My givers, my tithers, my 1st fruiters, make a claim of Amos 9:13. Believe God for a speedy return on your giving. How about believing God for the return?

A lotta people know how to give, but don't know how to receive. It's VOICE- (to God) ACTIVATED. (Siri ain't the only one).

Prayer. Talk to God, OUT LOUD. Change your atmosphere. And don't forget about the Holy Ghost. Pray in the spirit. Periodt.

And one more thing. When God puts the spotlight on you, don't dim down your light. SHINE (Isaiah 60). That's what I'm about to do....

Happy 50th Anniversary  (Love Gospel Assembly) On October 1, I opened my Bible, one of the ones I hadn't used for awhile. It automatically opened up to Luke 4. I went right to Luke 4:18, as that had been the Scripture I had gotten well acquainted with back in the early 90s because I was charged by the late, great Bishop Gerald Julius Kaufman with the task of transcribing a 6-cassette sermon series (that shows how long ago that was - when have you last seen a cassette tape?) It was the wee hours of the morning, yet I texted Pastor Lillian Gutierrez because she and I had worked feverishly in the summer of 1990 to compile what became Dr. Kaufman's thesis (God is Not the God of Poverty but He is the God of the Poor) for his doctoral dissertation for his Ph,D. which also became the book pictured above, The God of the Poor. Bishop Kaufman passed in 1997, RIP, Bishop. Miss you.

Connecting the Dots

Connecting the Dots Things seem to be coming together in my life, finally. It's taken a long and meandering journey. But I  honestly believe I am on point with the plans and purposes of God for my life. So, I'm good. Things are coming into alignment, and things are falling into place. Order is ensuing in my life. I have exerted the necessary effort to bring more order to my life, based on the leading, kindness, guidance and love of God. I sense His direction, moment by moment and step by step, of how to bring order to my life. First it was with my room, what color to color it. No, it wasn't like God told me which color to pick. But there was a color that was running over my heart, so to speak, and I chose that one, teal and aqua. So I began in the summer with painting my dresser, then table, then other dresser, wall by wall, and there's still more to be done, and Michael put up some shelves. WORK FROM HOME

 WORK FROM HOME Over the past three years, I've come to know quite a bit about SUBLIMATION. To the point where I'm able to make decorate items such as blank coffee mugs, coasters, canvas, flip flops, puzzles, masks and so much more FROM HOME.  I became interested when I found out about a lady named Cheryl Kuchek who was doing sublimation, and had a Facebook group which I joined, Sublimation for Beginners and Beyond. Beginners? Shoot, I didn't even know what sublimation was. I've been on the prowl for the past decade, trying to figure out a way to earn money, so I could support myself as I look after my mom, as she ages. I've been doing it since June of 2010. So, it's over a decade now. I've done soooooooooooo much research, and have been down one trail after another after another after another. I put up a website, many years ago.
